    Default Crankbait Pushing Rigs

I make and sell weighted rigs for pushing crankbaits. They consist of an in-line trolling sinker, powder coated black, swivels, and a four foot flourocarbon leader. The in-line sinker glides through the water without wobbling and with the black finish, it doesn't alarm the fish, so all they see is the crankbait. They come in three sizes, 2 oz, 3 oz, and 4 oz. As long as your line goes down at a 45 degree angle, I have a formula for determining your depth. They are $3 per pair of rigs plus shipping. They do work.

Scott, what type of rods do you use with these? Even 2oz sinkers put quite a strain on my PST 12-2 rods. I've read you can use them. What do you recommend?

I use PST 12 ft and have run 4 oz weight. They bend but won't break.
