Krazy Friday at Smithville

On the water before 6 and off by 9:30.

Dipped trees with jigs color did not matter. Went through a bunch of dinks today but caught some good eaters too. Biggest was 12 1/4" which was my last keeper at 8:50. Fished a while longer and caught a few more keepers but decided to head in before the heat tab got too high in the sky.

First trip out in the fishing boat for 6 weeks or so. Been out in the "wake maker" as Lee calls it.Rofl. I don't understand why guys fish where the wake makers are this time of year. I do both and it cracks me up when fisherman get all growly when ski boats keep close to the less windless side of the lake and coincidently where they want to fish.

Big lake fellas. If the wake makers keep rocking your boat.....go real early or fish out of the ski zone.

Soon as I dress these fish gotta get hooked up to the wake maker and head back to the lake.

Man am I beat. Just got home after a little La Fuente right after putting the wake maker away.

Gotta get to bed so I can find me some more of them fishies in the morning. Night all.
