    Default Picking you spot?

I'm having trouble deciding how to pick spots to set up and night fish for crappie uses crappie lights. Any suggestions what to look for when picking a spot?

    vertical concrete walls
standing timber on deep points at the mouths of creeks
corners or pockets on deep banks, with logjams
outside edge of submerged line of trees, bordering a channel
    isolated, sunken brushpile
    humps with stumps
baitfish activity in the immediate area, prior to nightfall
docks in deep water, with obvious signs of "angler" ownership (potential for brushpiles to be located within a cast of the dock)
large, fallen trees that stick out into deep water (sharp incline banks)

In other words, much the same "suggestions" as would be given for daytime spots :D Crappie don't necessarily change the type of cover or structure they hang around, just because it's dark. Sometimes they just come shallower, in the water column, when the darkness comes. .... luck2ya ... cp

I don't "nightstalk" much, anymore, myself ..... but, having done it since I was a young boy, I just recalled those places where I have had success when I did. ........ luck2ya ..... cp
