With 100+ temps what kind of umbrella set-ups do you guys use? I have seats that have boxes under them so I'm rather limited on what I can use.

Enclose boat and install a window unit and generator.

I just bought a light umbrella. I used pvc, a dowell rod, and put it in the hole where the bass fishing seat should be if I had one. Larry

You gotta pick up the pole and swing them into you, cause you cant get the pole high enough. or pick up and swing to the back and drop, then get up to get it. You might lose a few but better than sittin in the sun.

I put a mount for seats on each side of center seat and made a bracket to go into center seat hole and put a two piece unbrellerthat would adjust up a little, but I just mainly cast. 10% colder or more. I take it down when using big motor. The one on left shoots instead of casting unless they are left handed and wife is not, so she shoots but she needs the practice for docks LOL

Beat the heat, sports umbrella and UL works without too much trouble, even on a kayak.
Mine stays in the hatch at all times. Don't forget the sunscreen. Heat can make you .

If you can afford it, get a Mantis. I've had mine for probably 5 years now and love it.

Sams carries a medium size umbrella! and I made a stand from 1 1/2" pvc that slides onto chair pole and extends out so you can keep it out of your way.
