Go to shimano website search for parts then model # and can even pull up parts breakdown. Then you'll find phone# and it's here
In the usa. I ordered parts for a customer before real good people. Hope it helps.

I have a couple of older Shimano Symetre 1000 spools that came as an extra when I bought the reels. They are not aluminum.

How have you been doing? Haven't heard from you in a while.

    Hey Don

Doing better the back is still giving me problems but everything else is doing good. Finally started fishing in June for the first time in just over 3 yrs. and it felt great!!!!!!!!! Back to pouring and painting when it's not too hot. I get on the boards during the day when I can sneak on at work. Planned on going this morning and woke up with a migrain, took some meds and went back to bed!!!!

A buddy at work has an older symentre 1000 FH - and his spool (not aluminum) works on this one. The only thing on the spool is 1000 Shimano and different line weights and yardage 2-270, 4-140 and 6-110.

Doug, glad to see you doing well and back fishing some.

Do you want me to send you a couple of these spools?

Fatman, I didnt realize you was laid up from fishing for so long. Glad to see you were able to start back fishing though. Take care of that back so you can stay after 'em.Thumbs Up
