Thanks Slab.. nice to know. I didn't even know they made the glow ones. I will have to check it out
I have been using the Berkley Crappie Nibbles with Glitter for a few years now but I have found something that we like a whole lot better. The new Berkley GLOW Crappie Nibbles stay on the hook so much better and you don't have the mess that you get with the glitter getting all over the boat and yourself.
Our local Wal-Marts carry them and so far we have tried the Chartreuse and the White and caught just as many crappie on each color.

"Be Ye Fishers of Men" You catch them- He will clean them
Yea they are a lot more durable. We have caught two fish several times with the same Crappie Nibble on. Bought another jar today on the way to work.

Great Info slabbandit... I like to fish with the nibbles. Seems like I spend all of my time putting on a fresh one because the old one gets brittle to quickly...I will have to try these.....
Here lately, all of my crappie fishing has been at night and i am usually skeptical of using anything other than minnows. Are these nibbles really effective at night? Do you still use minnows too or just these? Thanks....
Man I love to use them with minnows. You loose significantly less minnows with the nibbles that you will without them. Plus it just adds some color to your presentation. Now if they also "glow" man that could be a great nightstalking weapon.Originally Posted by ToadRunner
They really do glow. I just held my jar right next to the light for a minute or so and then locked my self in the bathroom with no lights. They were glowing!!!:DOriginally Posted by gooch
Thank for the tip. you are giving me an idea for fishing next winter.

Glow Nibbles work great for me too although they will still fall off rather easily. Last tournament it looked like there was 100 boogers on the deck of my boat!!!
Price you pay though because the fish do hold onto them longer!!!:D

Who needs them ? I catch more than my buddies fishing out of the same boat without any.
