    Default Help With Mitchell Reel

I have an old black Mitchell 330 Auto spinning reel made in
France. The bail hangs up at times. I have cleaned it and
oiled also with no cures. Is this reel to old to find parts? I
have owned it for years but not a clue as to age. Looks
    well built.

Sounds like ya need a new bail spring. Had to replace 1 on my dads many years ago and the repair shop made one out of some kind of wire. Any good reel repair place should be able to get ya up and running again.

Just go on Ebay and Type Mitchell 330. Lots of parts on there

I use the Mictchell reel parts site also. Just look up your reel with the reel schematics and it will give you your part number.
