Black/blue/chart is my favorite in the Kalin and Southern Pro.
Hello, just wondering if anyone out there uses Kalin's Triple Threat curly tail grubs? I've taken to the Black/Blue/Chartreuse quite well. I've caught some nice slabs with this color on a chartreuse 1/8 oz. Roadrunner. Wanting to expand my colors and wondered if anyone could tell me what works good in what water color. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I do really well with the Tennessee Shad.
Well, I can tell you my favorite colors but I'm not using them to fish for crappie. LOL. My all time favorite is John Deere Green which actually I have caught some crappie on it in a river that doesn't really have many in it at all but, then again thats what I throw 90% of the time. Also, Firetiger is a good color for me (I'm catching sunfish, redeye, and smallmouth). If those 2 colors aren't working for me I'll switch to the Yellow Dog color. I've never done good on Acid Rain in the river but it looks really good for crappie. That might be a good one to look into. Good Luck!

Thanks everyone for the advice on additional colors. I will give each of the colors you have listed a try.
I use kalin acid rain color curly tail grub 2" ( yellow, white, chart.] At Jordan lake. Use that color on beetle spin, road runner and jig heads. My #2 color is john deere.
May the holes in your net be no larger than the fish in it. Irish Blessing.
Thanks heavyfoot, I mostly fish High Rock, Tuckertown, Badin, & Norman. However I do try and make atleast one trip a year to Jordan, but it's usually for bass fishing. I'm planning on a trip to Jordan for crappie so I'll keep those colors in mind. Thanks
silver/green body with clear glitter tail. Smokin hot for me.
blue/clear glitter and green/orange work well for cast/sink/slow retrieve when fishing deep.
