Default Went Last Night Toledo Bend (16" Crappie)

well it was pretty good until I some how cut my little finger and since I take blood thinners and we forgot the first aid kit (everyone should have one on board) we didn't have a bandaid it wouldn't stop bleeding so had to leave them biting. Had to cut a towel piece to tie a knot around it to hold it until we could get back home. Anyway I wanted to try the Reel-Lites I just got and my new Buck's Gold Jig Pole and both passed with flying colors. The light once dark put a circle of light around my entire boat, even on the other side. We caught some small fish as well, but got 3 Bass, 3 keeper crappie and a couple Yellow Bass to bring home. My 16" (without pinching the tail) crappie was the one fish that even with my finger made it a great night. As close as I can tell since only had one of the Boga Grip kind was 2 1/2 pounds.

My finger sure cut short what looked like a promising night out!

Almost forgot the 2 largest crappie and at least one bass came on 1/4 Oz jigs.

    Here are a couple pics...

Boy you got that right. I usually can get it stopped, butt it's kind of like a small chunk came out and also pinctured enough to let it really flow. I was surprised it just wouldn't stop! That piece of towel tight held it, but after a while I tried to take it off and it just started like it was new. Will never go again with out a lot better bandage supplies!

Nice fish!! Ask your Dr. next time for a prescription for that dermabond stuff for your boat. At least you could stop it then.

Thanks guys, I am sure going to get and have what ever it takes to help this kind of problem. I and not sure the glue thing would have worked, but I will also ask to get some of that too. This was more than a cut becaus a small area ALS lost some skin unlike a cut that still has all the akin to just put back together and there was a thin small chunk gone. There may have been a deeper spot in that too, but with part of the skin missing not sure glue would have worked!

I need a return trip soon, but also have to get off my duff and put some brush in that spot. We were sitting In a creek in 30' of water.

Thanks buddy, I also have a phone pic of it. I also had a phone pic of my wife's 12" crappie and it was on a different color jig and some how my phone lost the pic and I just don't understand that at all. My Black head has a UV coating on it I think.
