Still a few good guys out there
I went fishing with a buddy of mine today and got caught in a afternoon thunderstorm. We took shelter in an empty stall of a boat house on the lake. The man that owned it, a very nice 79 year old retired pastor, came out and talked to us mentioned that he liked bream so I tied on a yozuri snap bean and picked up 4 huge bluegill that we gave him. I also donated one of the tiny lures to his collection, as thanks for him being so nice. (told us that any time we wanted to fish or just sit under his dock we were welcome.) Any way after an hour of pretty hard rain he came back out and wanted to know if we had one slicker between us. My partner had his but I had left mine on the porch. He offered out of the kindness of his heart to drive me around to the launch so that I wouldn't have to get wet. (about a 1 mile run).
If you are ever in Russiville Ar and run across an elderly man fish for catfish named Loyd give him a big wave and a hello, and if its raining maybe just sit and visit with him for awhile.

Leave the landing by the visitors center and hang a right, about 3/4 mile down the boat house is a 3 staller with 1 empty stall has a beat up pontoon in the last spot motor about to fal off. His house is the one on the water on the left as you walk off the dock. About 100 yards down there is a lot of brush in about 12 ft of water that always seem to hold fish.
