Got into some Hogs!
I fished a lake in South Central Iowa Tuesday hoping for a some fish for the table. I know the lake has a good pop of crappies but they have tended to run small. I did get a lot of small ones but did manage twenty between 11-13 and three hogs that went 16.5-17! They all came off of a brush pile in 10 fow on a red/chartreuse tube jig.
Here are the two biggest at 16.5 and 17.
