Waiting is over, Championship date and lake

OK guys and gals, after lots of thought and talks with the rest of the gewbers on the board, we came up with something. This will be fun and it will save a few bucks for folks as well. The last tourney is at Sardis on Saturday, July the 21st so since we're all together anyhow, The Championship will be Sunday, July the 22nd. now here's the kicker, it's going to be at Enid, NOT Sardis. We all looked at the from several different angles and this appears to be the best option. Can't wait, guys !!!!!!!!!!!!!

We live in The Bible Belt. Some will refuse to fish the championship tournament on a Sunday out of principle. Others may refuse to fish any FJ because of this Sunday decision. I would suggest y'all delete this post and resume your debate for a location. And yes I did contact a committee member before posting on this thread.

We have fished the championship before on a Sunday and it went off without a hitch.
