    Default Crank question

If I was to change hooks on 2" cranks from #10 to #8 would it effect the action any?

I doubt there would be a noticeable change in lure action but if the replacement hooks are too big they will hang in each other and that means action change PLUS lost fish.

Be careful, sometimes if you change the hooks drasticly (this change probably wont) but it can cause you crank to spin underwater

I will usually go to a short shank treble if I am upsizing to prevent the two from tangling.
