Has anyone ever used one of these
It's a Townsend fish skinner. Sometimes when I catch bluegill or redears I like to fry them whole, but I like to skin them. Just cut the head off and cut down the top and bottom of fish and grasp the skin in the skinner and turn the wing handle. It peels the skin right off. I don't know if they still sell these, I bought this one when I was 18 years old, 38 years ago. I used this on all my fish then. Didn't know about filleting.
