Went Fishin

Went fishin this mornin at my honey hole by the drain pipe in the lake I fish, got on the water at 6am
and was catchin them at about 6' deep on minnows but as the sun got higher I kept moving a little
deeper and I ran out of minnows about 9am. I ended up with 36 that were from 9 to 13"

And it only took one beer to get them cleaned! 52 fitets



I scaled and cleaned about 10 of the smaller ones. Some of the people I give my fish to
like them that way instead of fileted

dang good mess Blackhawk, you catchin some good crappie for a lake. I cant ever catch nuttin but litluns out of lakes or ponds. they get over populated real fast

The lakes I fish aren't your everyday lake, they are managed for Trophy Bass and Bream and the Crappie "Love" the thread fin shad he stocks in there for the bass.
Right now I'm the only one allowed to fish there because people weren't obeying the rules on what and what not to keep. He knows I only fish for Crappie and obey his rules. He loves for me to catch the crappie. Here's pictures of the lakes that I posted.

You know if we went we probably wouldn't catch any! Ain't that how it always works out, just like if you promise someone some fish you won't catch any to give them!
