I'm in Louisville, KY and it hit 95. Just wandering if anybody was able to get out and fight the heat, and lake lice.

I know what you are talking about because I am also here in Louisville, ky. HOT, HOT, HOT. No I did not get to go out on the lake or river because of work but I did drive to Green River boat ramp just before a catfish tournament got started. I love seeing how they rig their boats with the bait tanks, lights, livewells, etc... Weigh in is at 2:00 a.m. If I am still awake, I going to drive back there to see it. To see how well they have done.

Yea we did. Caught a few fish but the boat traffic was awful. Pretty windy here in Arkansas also.

We buy the little 12 volt fans from Wal-Mart in the automotive dept. Wife also keeps a bottle of water in the ice chest that we can mist on us to help stay cool. Also have some 60 inch golf umbrellas but I'm working on a better way to mount them.

You should talk to Cane Pole. Judging by his T.U.R.D. he could come up with a good way to rig Umbrellas on your boat.
