Default First time crank puller....dang its fun!

So the other night I wasnt catching anything so I decided to pull some crankbaits. Never thought it sounded like much fun but it was awesome. Caught quite a few crappie and kept 4 bigguns. All I can say is Im addicted. Now to buy...okuma line counter reels, rod holders, more crankbaits and some spiderwire so I dont lose anything. You guys have any other tips or things I might need Id appreciate it. Thanks for the help!

You poor soul. You got it bad. Stay out of Walmart or what ever your local sporting goods stores are. I go to Academy for a bag of charcoal and come out $50 lighter after getting lost in the crankbait isle.

Braid or not, get used to losing some crankbaits. It's going to happen and if you try to go back and get one bait with 6-8 other rods out, a Chinese fire-drill will sound like organization when you are done. It hurts to leave a $5 Bandit hung up, especially at first, but the hurt gets better the more you lose. Just think good things about how you are helping the economy.
