With the weather getting so hot down here am looking for shade. That Protecht Mantis looks great but bet it's very high dollar. What do you guys use, any homemade units out there that work great? Standard pole mounted seats.

There is really no substitute for the Mantis. I would suggest the Pro+ model - much better fabric. You get a 30 day money back guarantee if you decide you either don't like it or it isn't worth the $$. It isn't inexpensive, but it is a good value.

Who carries this thing? I'd like to take a look at it.

I've had mine for a couple seasons now. Good product but it doesn't hold up at all when you get high winds. I found the website for you. www.pro-techt.com
Also works well in the rain. Not cheap tho.

I been using these for several years now, nuthin fancy but it gives you the shade on those sunbaked days, and the price is affordable -- big golf size
