Default Thunderstorms, crappie, and Rebel crankbaits

Hook one and his son Will and I drove the three hour drive down to Okatibbee near Meridian in MS this morning. When we arrived we met up with ScottV and Scott took Will On his boat and Hook One and I went in mine. We were pulling and pushing crankbaits at the same time. Pulling six rods on the back of the boat and pushing two rods with three oz. weights on the front. We were trying out the Crappie Crank-R's by Rebel. They are some great crankbaits as they have fantastic colors and run true right out of the package. Name: Okatibbee May 31, 2012 a69373c5-5d1a-5c5e.jpg

Had a small thunderboomer pop up first thing this morning and we rode it out catching fish all the while. The Rebels in Tail Light and Fire Fly colors worked great.Name: Okatibbee May 31, 2012 20847bae-ec64-a4eb.jpg

Size: 18.0 KB The rain and wind finally let up and we thought we were good to go. Put on a pink Rebel and started catching fish again. Name: Okatibbee May 31 2012 20847bae-ebdf-9b09.jpg

That was my boat in the rain before we got smart and put the Sportsbrella up to keep the rain off of us.

I only fished that lake one trip and it was great. I'm green with envy. Glad you had a good time. See you'all in Oct.
