CATCH THEM ALL.
you should get the right size and speed going first. color will be dictated by the fish and water your on. the usuals like green white orange purple are a good starting point.

The best color seems to be whatever color my partner is using. Size, depth, and presentation are gonna be the biggest factor in the summer. The fish are scattered, and holding at depths that God only knows, and wanting a jig that is anywhere from 3/4 to 2 1/4 ". Sometimes they want it sleeping, and sometimes they want it moving so fast that you wonder how they ever caught it. You get all these variables right, and color aint' gonna matter much. But I"m saying go with a "Crappy Jig", yellow tail, Chartruse Body.Pink head, and a glow white nibble.
Hammered them yesterday on pink.
what ever they hit on that day. If you find the right color they will not be getting hooked in the lips either, they will eat it.
