Very good report Tony.....well almost.......where are the fish? Tell Waldo to send me something to test and I will show ya some fish, lol.
For the last 3 months I have been field testing the WMS 50 and WMS 75 Wally Marshall Signature Series spinning reels by Lews. Both reels are lightweight, graphite body, oversized spool, and 6 bearings. As you can see in the picture below, I fish off a waterwagon and the reels get a lot of abuse. They get wet....a lot. I never had the reels get "stiff" from being wet, the bail never failed, and I really liked the larger spool. Holds more line and helps a lot with memory. (wish I had a bigger spool, getting where I can't remember squat). With a suggested retail price of $29.99 I think they are the best bang for the buck on a lightweight spinning reel. Can't give a report on the new rods, as I'm waiting for the Pro Series and they're not ready yet.

I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Thanks for the heads-up! I'm in the market for a new reel, and may just give one of these a try (after returning a piece of junk Quantum Snapshot I just bought).
