This has been completely different weather this spring than what we have experienced in the past 4 or 5 years. Cool and wet. Corn is off to the best start that it has ever had since I have been growing it. We are wet. Pantego NC got ten inches yesterday. Now we got Beryl to deal with. I hope ole Beryl don't come barreling up in here. Wheat harvest is due to start in a couple weeks. Got a big crop in the works but it ain't over until the check clears the bank. Any big winds or heavy rain now will put it flat on the ground. If this weather keeps up now, gonna be a long hard harvest on wheat. need about a ten day break from the rain, get wheat in and then go to planting beans and getting more showers. Nice to not be in a drought for once.CF

That is the dang truth Corky. Beryl barreled up here in good fashion too and dumped about 3 inches on My local. I have not seen it this wet for this time of year since way back in my cotton days. Wheat harvest is gonna be a bear but corn is loving it.CF
