Default Crappie with my fishing buddy

Here are a few pics of some crappie my son Speck Jr., aka Daniel, and I caught at Enid this past weekend. In the pic of Dan holding 3 crappie, the one on the left was 16 inches and weighed 2.2 pounds. The other two were 14 inch crappie. We had a great time and can't wait to go again. It seems that as the kids get older, finding time is harder and harder. Speck

Good Question. Actually, my boat only has one livewell, so when two of us fish at the same time, we use safety pins ( 30 brass and 30 silver ) to be able to identify who caught what fish. Checked with Missouri and Mississippi Conservation Depts. and both said its legal.

In Missouri you have to keep your fish seperate. If using one live well or cooler than you have to mark the fish to tell who caught what. Pinning them which is easy or clipping a fin to mark who's fish is who's.
