Default One more Jig pic please

This is a sample of the jigs I am going to put in a marina that is about a block from my house. This marina has been here for many years, but closed at some point. Luck for me they just have been opening it back up and with this weekend it should be busy so thought I would see how my jigs would do being sold there.

Here is a pic of the color combo's I am putting there and wanted to know if any of you have any suggestions on any color I should include other than what's here.

Skip, red/chartruce is a good color in most places, I tie them myself as I tie most of my own jigs. Red chenille and either bucktail in chartruce or artificial hair. The muddy waters in LA Lakes stain bucktail where the artificial will hold it's color. In the clear lakes I'll use the buck tail.

    Your jigs look good!!

Skip...what is the name of the marina that will have them? I fish Toledo somewhat regularly and would buy some..
Just my suggestion....white head/body and chartruese tail.
Like a friend of mine says when asked about what color to use..."if it ain't chartruese, what's the use"!!

    P-nut,
By land I am probably about 25 miles from there and by water I am probably 15 miles. You will be on the Louisiana side and I am on the Texas side on 6 Mile Creek near Hwy 87. If you look at the map Cypress Bend is near the bridge crossing the lake and that is also about where the lake gets narrow and if you look South on the West side the first big branch coming off the main lake is Housen and the 2nd. one is 6 Mile Creek. I am about 1 mile from Hwy 87 on the North side of 6 mile creek.

Actually the fishing should be better in July than now since the spawn is over and the fish have been moving to brush piles and deeper water. I am still catching some trolling in water from 6' to 14'. We are in the time they slow some at the end of the spawn.
