Default minn kota prop on motor guide.

I have a deck mount motor guide. I don't like the MG prop and would like to put a MK weedless wedge on it. Is that possible?

I wouldn't think so ...... I doubt the hubs/pins would match up. Motorguide has 2 blade & 3 blade props (power prop/weedless prop). They also come in two different sizes (to match the width of the motorhead) ... 3" & 3.5" ... and all props DO NOT fit all motors (of the MG brand series).
Minn-Kota props come in 2 blade ... various shapes. Even their "wedge" prop only fits certain models of MK motors.
Just MHO ... from looking at the various props offered ........... luck2ya ... cp

I don't remember the model numbers but we had a MG and a MK and the props were not interchangeable.

Well I went and bought a weedless wedge II. I had to route the sheer pin channel about 1/8". Took 10 minutes. Works great 'smoother and quiter too :D
