Default A protective tube for my Reel-light

I fish out of a 15ft jon boat with no storage. Once everything is in the boat there is not much room to move around, so to protect my investment of the light I made this tube out of 2" pvc, 1" pipe insulation, and a couple of pvc cleanpouts. It will double as the float even though it's overkill. I can fit the light, the wire, and my chum bag inside to make a water tight, big foot proof tube. Here's some pics.

very nice....but really overkill....that dadgummed Reel-Lite is almost indestructable. They are sealed water tight and that green tube is really tough
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

pretty nice man! they are hard to damage, but that would keep the scratches down for sure.

Looks great. Regardless of overkill, it will still keep it from getting scratched up. Good job!
