    stopped at lil bites she was open at 6:30 am got 4 dozen minners [almost have to morgage boat to pay for] started fishin at 7 1 plae we stop was the cove due west of cabins 1 little stag about 30 yards out in middle of cove tied up to snag let wind blow boat into stump under water
    set right ther caught 60 by 11 oclock all 9 to 12 inches about 1/2 were females and eggs were still hard most were 10 to 12 inches doc appoint 2morror think we will go back sat or sun caght about 10 on jigs blk/cht pink/blk

    That's a good report and nice catch. Congrats. I doubt you'll be able to tie up there this weekend though...now that you have give that location away to all the lurkers. That's alright though, there's fish all over the lake that can be caught.Thumbs Up

    It's not hard to find fish at Mozingo. Does anyone have the GPS locations for all the new brush the sank last fall and winter. I know there are 3 new piles on the swimming beach, plus a friend showed me 2 other new ones. He told me they sank 25 new piles. His duck huntin buddy is with the Corp and gave them to him.

    Makes me want to fast-track getting a GPS/depth finder! I have some brushpile locations on paper maps and use depthfinder and buoys for the fine tuning once I find them. I just cruise slowly and watch the bottom structure, otherwise.
