    Default Toughest Crappie Rod?

Hey guys, I'm getting into crappie fishing and needing some poles for spider rigging. i'd like these rods to be able to pull double duty for trolling for channel cats as well. i would just get some normal catfish rods but the lake i fish is shallow so i want at least a 12 foot rod. it seems like a heavy duty crappie rod would work pretty well and be a blast catching catfish on. So far i have a couple of rods in mind. The wally marshall troll tech rods seem like the heaviest duty rod i can find so far. also the bnm pro staff trolling rods seem ok as well. Any ideas of a 12' rod that would be what i'm looking for?

I have no experience with either rods but wanted to welcome you from GEORGIA. I'm sure plenty will give their opinions though.

Never tried em or seen em in person. But I believe they use the ugly Stick Blanks. Should be pretty tuff.

Never tried trolling with my ugly stick, but I guarantee you it will handle a catfish just fine. Its not the most sensitive rod, so I don't care much for jigging with it, but a minner and a float and I can haul out any fish in the lake with it!
