    Wondering how the crappie fishing is mid June? Also, could anyone suggest a guide for going after crappie? Thanks from Illinois!

    June is usually pretty tough time of year for crappie. You might want to consider fishing at night. Cooler and a lot less traffic. I do not know of any guides that still fish at night. The white bass are in the jumps a few places on Barkley and maybe a multi species guide could go after something else if the crappie aren't biting!

    Crappie spawning and morels popping up at the same time. What was God thinking when he made that schedule. It's pure torture every spring deciding which to do.
