The Wife and I...Truman 5/12 and 5/13

The wife doesn't get many chances to go out much so i drug her out for Mother's Day weekend. We fished the Pomme Arm Saturday morning and picked up 17 fish all over 11 inches besides one. We had 4 or 5 fish right at 1 lb. Caught fish in the mouth of coves on secondary points in about 18-25 FOW, 10-12 ft down. I hate to admit it...but minnows were the ticket.

Fished the Osage Sunday morning but was a lot tougher. Water is still muddy there, but the fish were more scattered than the day before. I think that cold weather Saturday night/Sunday morning def had an affect on them. We still caught some nice fish...but we def had to work for them. We fished the same pattern, but caught some nice fish on a fence row on a flat. Seems like the fish are all over the place...but scattered or not it we had a great time!

I don't discount minnows ever! Some time fish want fish, not some plastic thingy shaking around their haunt.

By the way... those are some BIG............ GLASSES your wife wears. Dang!!!
