    Default best fishing line

Whats everyone think. Whats the best line on the market.
Monofilliment and Braided lines. List your opinion.

I have tried Viscious and Cajon and like them both although I think fish can see the viscious on sunny days.

Suffix Elite and Trilene XL - good monos
    Vanish - decent f/c
Power Pro and Spider Wire - good braids

I've been testing them at 6# especially for large bass and picks to see how they hold up to a strong fight. NO BREAKOFFS AND NO KNOT SLIPS (UNI-KNOT)! They cast 1/32 oz jigs a good 20'. Sat. I caught a 24" pick on a light set-up with no problem. Good thing it was a lip hook set.

I use strictly spider wire for my braids, and trilene XL and cajun red for my monos.

spider wire rigged reels 1@60lb.(for large baits in heavy cover) test and [email protected](for lighter baits in open water)

trilene XL in 2lb. and 4lb. test for my super ultralite rods; cajun red 4lb. and 6lb. test for my light rods and for fishing worms over heavy slop...the cajun line is extremely tough for its "supposed" breaking point...Haven't lost a bass on the 6lb. test yet.
Roaming the banks of the Kankakee River and anywhere else fish might lurk.

    Stren, Braid and Mono
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

    Strength- Power Pro Super8Slick
    Castability- Nanofil

Overall got to give it to PPS8S though now that I have a knot that holds and confident in Nano just got very close to surpassing PP. I use these lines for multi-pupose use (finesse bass-small cats) if strictly crappie Nanofil is my favorite.
