Just 3 shy of a nice limit at Smithville today, got on the water at noon quit at 4..... mostly dippin trees in the camp branch arm near the power lines using 1/16 pony head with 2" chart GULP minnow. Did catch a few on main lake brush piles using the same bait. Didn't even make a cast at the banks so can't say for sure if the shallow bite was there. Fished 12-15 fow, bites were about 6" off the bottom.
FISH ON......... inspired by river monsters around the globe.......

Good job, that cold and rain messed it up a little.

Looks good Claybuster. Those will make a fine meal.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Nothing wrong with that at all, good quality fish, and a day out enjoying the day in nature, cant beat that.
