I fished Sat. and the lake was wild with schools all over the place. All species were shallow for the most part and one large school was on the west side of a long hump. On Sunday the weather changed a bit from overcast and breezy - wind from the north/northeast to partly cloudy and wind from the south/ southeast. Not that it made a difference, but my club had a pickerel tournament from 7am-1pm, scouring the shallows. Crappie were so hyper on Saturday they attacked 4" soft stick worms, jerkbaits and a few crankbaits, which is common during the spawn.

I think tomorrow will be another interesting day since rain is forcast and overcast skies will get fish active again as well as the cooling off period from angler pressure.
