    Default Mt Joy/ Lancaster area


    I'm from Indiana and going to Mt. Joy and Lancaster area this week for some vacation with my in laws. I'd like to sneak away to do some fishing in the area. Does anyone have any suggestion for some decent bank fishing in that area? It doesn't have to be for crappie, just something that swims!!! Thanks for any help.

    I'm not from that area, but I do see a Speedwell Forge Lake close by. It's a PA Fish & Boat Comm. lake. Maybe you can find out more about it here. http://sites.state.pa.us/PA_Exec/Fish_Boat/mpag1.htm

    Default Speedwell Forge

    Dear Shellback, just got back from PA and wanted to thank you for the tip on Speedwell Forge. I caught 8 very nice crappie while I was there and several gills. It has a good bank fishing and was perfect for me. Thanks for the tip!!! Here's one of crappie...
