I have been tying up these beadchain jigs with srtubg crystal flash in olive. It has been killer for me. I actually need to ie a few up this evening. I did up a couple to try out and they are all beat up from the fish I caught on them.
I have always gone to the yellow jig in the past. But this year it has seem that the crappie bite better anything very blue or hot pink. Just wondering other people color choices? Mostly fishin deep water brush from 20 to 30 FTW in Lake Marion and Lake Wateree.

Brown ie rootbeer/chartruse
I've been killing them with red/chartreuse this year.
It usually depends on water quaility on what color I try to use first but black/chartreuse & white/pink have been the best lately. Our water levels are extremely low & dirty, bright colors seem to work best when it's like this.
white and chartreuse for this guy. last year white and hot pink.

I make the R.A.G. Fly brand jigs and the color I have sold the most is chartruse head/watermelon green with black and silver specks/black and chartruse marabou tail.
Black an chartreuse has always been a go to color but lately I've been experimenting with lots of different color combos . I've noticed that instead of a solid white jig on a white jig head doesn't do as well as maybe a orange or pink head on a white body .
What I do a lot is when Im on the fish I'll try different colors to see what works better or doesn't work as good . Yesterday the water was high and a lil muddy ... Ended up catchin on a 1/8 ounce orange jig head with a 2" blue body chartreuse tail .
I think a lot of fishermen get stuck on one thing , and that's it . I'm guilty of this myself . So don't be afraid to experiment and try different colors and different techniques .
