Default Best Attractants to Use on Small Hair Jigs?

Was Bluegill fishing with crickets and red worms and doing quite well. So, I wanted to try some 1/32 oz. "Rock hoppers". These have Marabou tails, wrapped bodies, and fine hairs sticking straight out from the body. They bit them but slower than the live bait. Is their a spray on attractant that won't destroy the hair or marabou action of this jig? I'm thinking an earthworm scent or something.

I have been using some of the Gulp Alive on a bare hook and they work as well as crickets. Berkley make a Gulp spray that you might want to consider.

Absolutely. Or pinch off a tiny piece of red worm.

I usually put it right on the back end of the sickle hook. Sometimes they get smart and nab it off, so i push it as far as it can go on the hook shaft. It does restrict the action of the bucktail feathers a bit, but as long as they swallow the whole lure, im happy.
