5/1 The bite is still on at Smithville

Left the W ramp about 6:00 caught 22 keepers but didnt keep fish i would need to measure. Went home with 15. 3 were around 13" the rest were 10 to 12. Good mess of fish. All most all on the bank. It was a great evening of fishing.

Thanks for the report. I'm heading out there tonight if I can get off work early enough. Just hope the wind won't be blowing too harsh by sunset. Do you think the crappie mind the wind or does the wind play a major role on how well they will bite? just wondering.
