With the rain stopping and the wind calming down, a nice mud line out of the river we thought we would finally have a good day of fishing. Everything fell into place except the fish. We trolled the shoreline in 15-25 feet of water almost to Manitowoc before heading out to the fish nets in 100 feet. The water temps in close were 44 degrees and quickly fell to 39 as we went deeper. We marked enough fish and alot of bait fish, but this time we had no takers. The sunshine is on the way, and it can only get better from here.
