condos on the red

ALL THOSE GOOD LOOKIN TREES ON THE WINGDAMS AND REVETMENTS (RED RIVER)
does anyone know if it's legal to cut the trees growing there, there's some fine condos growing right there next to the water, and they weren't planted to hold the rocks down either. I know all perch fishermen have thought about it, does anyone know of a corp of engineers document on the subject? I do know about the "if they don't see you" clause!

everyone one around here cuts the small sycamores from off the rock jetties and drop them you dont have to weigh them down cause they are dense and heavy enough themselves. we dont touch the ones on land unless it is an island... dont want to upset any land owners..
