Hey they look good to me. One day I want to try my hand at doing a few for myself.

    Default Great job!!

Skip; I'd fish with any of them! Fine looking jigs and I'm pretty picky! I use one like the light blue and white (the ones I've got, have a white head), and I also use one just like the orange and chart. Given the water color, you should be able to catch a limit where ever you go with them!!

lou they look real good. I find the fish here in North Ala. like the jigs with less hair or feathers. Any smart Crappie should fell prey to them!!!

Do you tie them for personal use only or do you sell them?

So far just for my self, but have been think about selling some just to give me something to do. I am not really fast, but I do glue the start thread and use head cement after I tie a whip finish.

They should hold up better than store bought.

Thanks guys for all the nice comments!

Shoot man they look good. You might want to try a drop of super glue instead of the head cement........... It works better for me. I also save my old spiderwire and use that to tie with, it don't break as easy as that dang thin thread:D

Be careful about what you wish for................ it could cut into your fishing time!

Looks really good to me. It is really gratifying to catch a nice slab on a jig you made yourself. We catch quite a few here on a jig similar to your christmas jig, except the body is not green but black. The contrasting colors work well in stained water.

Skip I like the way they came out. I'd buy a few of those. Especially the brown and charteuse and green and charteuse.
