Great spinning reel spooling video

I ran across this video and they do a great job describing the correct way to fill a spinning reel. It's by North American Fishing Club. I see people posting about having trouble with line memory and loops. This video should help.

nice, I definitely have probs w twists and loops on my spinning rig and I have definitely been using the screwdriver method

Again, I think it depends on the reel. Both Daiwa and Shimano tell you to use a screwdriver or a pencil. Since all my reels are Daiwas or Shimanos, that's what I do. Works for me.

Try it both ways and see which works best for you.

the pencil works for pflueger. works for me also.
