    Default rod holder angle

I have been using the 5o angle Driftmasters with the 8" stem. My boat is one of thos little 114" Bass Hunter pond boats so I need something that gets the rod tip up off the water, even with my 5-ft rods. I'm starting to think I'd like to switch to all 7' rods in my 8 rod spider rig spread. I wonder if the 25o Driftmaster flatliner will be too much of an angle, if there is such a thing. I just think I need it to keep the rod tips further from the water, especially if I'm running the 3/8 oz weights above the jig.

You need to buy the Driftmaster T Bar with the Driftmaster T Bat Mounts so you can adjust the height of your rods. Something like the T-250 setup. The holders you have now will work on it with the right mounts.

Driftmaster makes a 255-H that has dual positions, 0 degrees and 30 degrees. You would be able to choose either angle with out changing rod holders. I have them on my web site.

I'm really wondering if the angle makes a big difference in trolling or pushing the jigs. I'm kinda "locked-in" with what I have now and how much I want to spend.
