Truman 4/21-4/22

Had a fun weekend. Saturday morning started off rough(OSS and Buckwheat can vouch for that....) Wife and I fished the cdc tourney Saturday, had a lot of fun as always, caught everything on a jig Jigging15 made me. We are hooked on fishing the tournaments. Fishing was slow both days for us. Took my 4 year old out today. We had a blast. Tipped a jig with a minnow under a slip bobber. We only fished a couple of hours. Caught 5 up in the cockleburr bushes. They were all small, but to him they were monster fish. All 8-9 1/2" fish. Caught them Down from Bucksaw. Here's a couple pics from Saturday and Sunday.

Glad you all had a great weekend. Was good talking to you two and also with your dad at the weigh in. I will get you some more of the secret jigs made. I picked up some more body material yesterday at Bass Pro. Great pic of your son with a fish. That should be enough to make you forget about the rough start Saturday.

It was good seeing you and the boss Saturday...hope your wife didn't here us cussin each other. With that soupy fog, we had no idea a boat was that close to us. Glad your family had a good weekendThumbs Up

Thanks guys! We had a lot of fun. My daughter was sick on Sunday, so they missed out unfortunately. We had a great time. Hopefully the weather holds out for next Saturday. Would love to try to get both the kids out there why they are shallow.
