Default Bream on the move w/ pics

Fished for a half day Friday and ended up with enough to make the grease stink I was sitting in about 7-8 ft of water and throwing a cricket into 3 ft. when it came over the ledge back to me, they popped it. Shells and Blues were together early then the catfish moved in and I never got another bream bite before I had to leave. I never saw any beds in the shallows but I'm sure it won't be long. *This was a public lake*

Nice mess of fish. I have noticed that black discoloration on the heads of catfish I have caught occasionally as well. Do you know what that is, or if it effects eating at all? Thanks

    Wahanlin,
The cats did not look that way when I caught them. I fish out of a canoe and put my keepers in a cooler with water, by the time I get home their usually dead and begin to loose/change color. I've never noticed a difference in taste.
