I need help

I have a 1992 60 hp evinrude.It will not idle runs fine on top end but will not idle.I have had the carbs rebuilt by a suppose to be a mechanic.I am still having the same problem seems to have the mechanic stumped to.Has anyone on here had this problem before and if so what can I do to fix it.I had one boat mechanic tell me they have to take the carbs off of a 70 hp and put them on and that solved the problem.

I had one that acted just like that and it had a bad cylinder it blew up shortly after that hopefully that is not your problem.

Go to bassboatcentral.com. They should be able to help you out on the forums. They have different forums for boats and motors. Lot of people there that work on engines. Should be able to help you out.
