seems hoover's getting off to a good start.yesterday,there was a 4 1/4 pound,19 inch killer slab caught.the guy also boated a 2+ pounder to go with it
next week should be prime,based on the forecast

That's close to state record for a black (18.125 "; 4lb, 8oz) and over state record for a white (18.5"; 3.904 lb). if his weight and measurements were accurate. Hope he used a certified scale.

it was a black,and yep,just a missed.he thought he had te record white till the dnr identified it as a black,when he took it for certification.great fish though,either way
and that's now the second consecutive tiger record from turkeyfoot in recent years,where they haven't been stocked for over 20 years.

lots of records falling in ohio over the past few years.
my uncle's state/world record saugeye record has been broken no less than 4 times in the past 15 years.
