I've got a few of the Tite-Lok holders with Tite-Lok C-clamps. I think their big advantage is how adjustable they are; and that they adjust quickly. On my home lake I use publicly available jon boats so I need to be able to rig and unrig the boat quickly...and no two of the jon boats are the same so you need to be able to make adjustments.

Bass Pro Shops sells them for $30 with the clamp.

Size: 45.5 KBI clamp mine to the boat with conduit beam clamps. Since this pic was taken I changed the holders to driftmasters.
