    Default Rod advice Please


    I am interested in getting everyones feed back on the best six foot rod to purchase for a Zebco Zo2 spincast reels.
    I only jig fish and I'm sure there's those of you that have found good rods for the jig caster and verticle fishing foremat.
    Any suggestions would be of great help.

    Does a spincast reel use the same rod/reel-seat that a baitcaster uses?

    If so, I've been pretty happy with the BPS Microlite in 6' medium light. For vertical jigging you might want a Light instead of Medium Light but I found it very difficult to find baitcast rods in anything lighter than medium light.

    Others on this forum have more experience and know a lot more products, so I'm sure someone will chime in with a better choice.
