    Default Planning for Arkabutla FJ

I made reservations at the Super 8 Motel in Hernando for our May 12th FJ. They let up park in the grass behind the motel and plug out chargers in too. To get the best rate be sure to tell them that you are fishing in the crappie tournament. 662-429-5334.

If we don't get any rain we will all be fishing from the bank, won't be able to launch a boat. The lake was 210.05 this morning and still on a slow fall

It is a fruit jar tournament and its for anybody that wants to fish it. Read the Stickys at the top of the page....one has all the rules etc. and the other has the schedule for this year.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Slabin, it is a laid back kind of Tourney. Bunch of good folks too, usually meet up some where Friday night to eat and fellowship. Come join us, it will get you fishing some new water too. I had not been on Butla in 30 years until last year, always hung around my home lake Granada.

If water don't come up maybe we should move regerstration and weight in to Bayou Point. Is about the only ramp usable.
