Smile A Spring break to remember

Last week I took my son down to Kentucky's Lake Barkley over his school Spring Break. We had wonderful weather, camped lakeside, and fished throughout the week. After 2 days of poor fishing and difficult, windy conditions, we finally had a great, memorable couple of days. I thought I'd share a photo of his largest catch. This will be a memory for him for a good long time! We finally found them along rock formations in the shallows. They were active on minnows at just 2ft deep.

I thought about that, but I just paid our taxidermist $$ for a 6lb largemouth I'd caught last fall. It would have been a good mount! Maybe we'll do that next year if we have good luck.

A mount is nice, but the picture is priceless.

If there was some good hot chocolate in the evening, I'd be hooked!

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
